OUR STORY
Innoignite was established march 23, 2019 as Young Scientists for Innovation in Science and Technology (YOSISAT) by our founder and Chief Executive Officer Archie Forpoh, who had a keen interest in performing science experiments at an early age. He utilized his passion for science and technology and decided to developed activities which his peers seem it necessary to have a passion for science and technology. He deed it necessary to found the Young Scientist For Innovation in Science And Technology (Yosisat) to assist young scientists explore in science and technology.
The 11th of November, Young Scientists for Innovation in Science and Technology (YOSISAT) rebrand as INNOIGNITE with the mission of "Bridging the Gap of STEM Education across Liberia."
TODAY AT INNOIGNITE
We are establishing STEM clubs and implementing Hands-on activities within major junior and senior high schools in Liberia and India for the student populace with high passion and also sparking the interest of struggling one in the various STEAM fields, creating an environment for primary and secondary students to get along with hands-on STEAM activities and supporting and enhancing STEAM literacy across the global.

We seek to build a stronger bridge between STEM in high school and higher education while also increasing the impact of these fields on local, regional, national, and international levels.

What is the future we seek to bring about?
We envision a community where all students and young people in Liberia and the world at large have the opportunity and enter the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. To Connect local professionals in the STEM Fields with students and encourage mentoring.
OUR METHODOLOGY
Our Methodology is two fold, increasing inclusivity, accessibility and diversity all together. Firstly, is through partnering with community organizations to directly increase the accessibility of our free workshops, events, programs and resources. This includes working with libraries, schools and community centers around Liberia and the world at large. Secondly, is through our interdisciplinary STEM Curriculum. Innoignite seeks to amplify the narrative that STEM is a force for social good on it intersection with other fields though focuses on Agriculture, Arts, Climate Action and more.
